Monitoring platform for construction sites

Challenge

Teams overseeing multiple construction sites lacked a consistent, real-time view of site status and relied on fragmented manual reporting.

Approach

Extended and maintained a microservice-based monitoring application with an Angular/RxJS front end and a NodeJS backend, persisting data in PostgreSQL and MS SQL, covered by Jasmine tests and shipped via Docker.

Outcome

Site managers get consistent, real-time monitoring instead of manual reports, with test coverage protecting the platform through ongoing changes.
